What is THINk?
THINk stands for Tower Hamlets Involvement Network which is the Local Involvement Network (LINk) for Tower Hamlets.
THINk is a network of local people and groups in Tower Hamlets who believe that the users of local health and social care services are often the best people to make suggestions on how they can be improved.
If you have any comments or suggestions regarding health and social care services in Tower Hamlets then please become a member of THINk and let your views and experiences be counted.
THINk is managed by a steering group of 20 members and key stakeholders and hosted by Urban Inclusion Community

- THINk is the Local Involvement Network, or LINk, for Tower Hamlets. A LINk has been set up in every area of England to help people influence or change the way their local NHS and social care services are delivered.
- THINk members are individuals, groups and organisations from across Tower Hamlets.
- THINK will give local people ways of getting involved and influencing service, design, review and development of health and social care services.
- THINk is independent of the Local Authority and the NHS and can comment on all health and social care including local hospitals, GPs, care homes, and pharmacies.
- THINks remit is all health and social care services including local hospitals, GPs, care homes, and pharmacists.
THINk will:
- ask Tower Hamlets people what they need from their services and will provide lots of ways for people to give their views
- visit services to get the views of the people who use them
- feed those views to the people and groups in Tower Hamlets in charge of services
- have the power to refer the publics issues to Health Scrutiny Panel, the Health Commission, Commission for Social Care Inspection, and the Mental health Act Commission
